Q: What is Pet Sitting?
A: Pet sitting is complete in-home care that is an alternative to boarding. We take care of all your pet's needs while they are in the comfort of their own environment. We understand that each animal is different, so we provide tailored service for each pet. Our aim is to keep your animal happy, healthy, loved and cared for while you are away.
Q: Are you able to administer medication?
A: Yes. We are able to give pills, liquids, topical meds, shots, and have lots of experience administering them.
Q: What type of animals do you care for?
A: We care for all types of animals including: dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, chickens, and ducks. We love all animals!
Q: Who do we communicate with and what is the best way to contact One-on-One Dog Walking?
A: Customers will have direct communication with their sitter and can feel free to call or text at any time. We also have an email that we check constantly if that better suits your communication needs.
Q: How do you handle the key situation?
A: We ask that you provide us with two copies of your house key. We keep one key locked in a safe in our office and the other key stays with us throughout the day with only the pet's name labeled. For keyless entry, we ask that we have all necessary codes.
Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: For daily dog walks, we ask that you cancel by contacting us before 9 AM the day of the scheduled visit.
For pet sitting, we ask that you cancel 5 days before the first schedule visit.
Q: What is a meet and greet?
A: A meet and greet gives us the chance to meet you and your furry family in your home. It also allows us to gather all required customer/pet information, keys and to address any questions or concerns that you might have. There is no charge for the initial meet and greet, any additional meeting requests will be charged a fee based on time requirements. Updating information is always encouraged through text, email or phone calls.
Q: How do I pay?
A: We accept Venmo, Zelle, cash or check. For daily dog walks you may pay weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. We ask that you pay before the scheduled visits.
For pet sitting, we require full payment before the visits begin. You may leave payment in a designated spot for us to pick up on the first visit.
For first time customers, we require payment for all scheduled visits signed up for during the meet and greet.
